About Us
Stone Garden Design was established in 2002 as a sister company to Newell Bros Tree and Landscaping Service. Matthew Newell, founder of both companies started serving the northern Colorado area in 1993 as an active licensed arborist who helped build a family owned business to cater to the needs of their clients in the green industry. The business initially focused on arboriculture and their passion for working with trees and plants. However, as the business continued to build and service a long list of repeat clients, Matt also devoted much time and interest to landscape design and was able to finally express his creativity when he launched Stone Garden Design LLC.
For almost twenty years, the goal of Stone Garden Design was, and is to this day, to focus on creating outdoor environments that would bridge the gap between beautiful homes and beautiful landscapes.
